Description
Dual-cure, radiopaque resin-modified glass ionomer (RMGI) for build-up of coronal tooth structure prior to crown preparation. Fluoride-releasing. Bonds chemically to dentin/enamel and micro-mechanically after light cure.
Presentation: 1:1 automix dual-barrel syringe/cartridge with static mixing tips (brown) and optional intraoral/endo tips.
Compatible substrates & pretreatment
- Enamel/Dentin: Clean, rinse, gently air-dry; leave dentin slightly moist (not desiccated). Optional 10–20% polyacrylic acid conditioner for 10–15 s on dentin/enamel, rinse, blot dry.
- Posts/Metals: Sandblast/roughen and clean. For metal posts, apply suitable metal/MDP primer if enhanced retention is desired.
- Ceramics/Composites: Roughen or sandblast and use appropriate silane/primer per manufacturer.
- Do not use eugenol sealers beneath the core.
Contraindications
- Known allergy to acrylates, methacrylates, or glass-ionomer components.
- Direct anterior esthetic veneers or high-flexure areas as a final restoration.
- Pulp exposure or direct pulp capping (use calcium-silicate liner first).
Indications
- Vital and endodontically treated posterior teeth requiring core build-up.
- Core build-up with/without prefabricated fiber or metal posts.
- Liner/base under indirect restorations where dual-cure set is desiredPackage contents (example)
